An Amish Eid Al-Adha

Eid Al-Adha is a very festive and busy day for Muslims all over the world.  It is also a busy day for the Amish of Ohio. Muslims from surrounding counties come to the Amish farm to purchase sheep for the Eid holiday.  The Amish women and the Muslim women usually do not interact with one another.  They smile, nod and continue on their way.  Asiyah and Noor paid no attention to this protocol when they asked Mr. Smuckers' daughters for a tour of the animal barn.  Onlookers watched in amazement as the girls interacted with each other.  They all began to wonder why hadn't they talked with the other.
